Zortrax M200 3D printer
After two years of development the Poland-based Zortrax team has finally launched its Zortrax M200 3D printer on Kickstarter. The Plug & Print Zortrax M200 is a cool printer. It features stable aluminum printer frame, specially designed printer head for ABS, PC-ABS and Nylon material and its own slicing engine called Zortrax Suite.
At first glance, it’s your typical bed-in-a-box set up with a 8x8x7.5 (205x205x190mm) build area.
Even with the plug-n-play printers, there’s bed leveling, ambient air temperature to deal with–A lot of variables that any desktop 3D printer isn’t apt to avoid, but Zortrax is set on changing that with the Zortrax M200.
The software doesn’t require being connected to the printer, but instead allows files to be saved onto an SD Card.
They’ve designed it from the ground up, sporting a aluminum chassis, a gantry system based on MIT’s Fab in a Box.
No matter if you’re a student, a designer or an engineer at some point you stumbled upon the need to make an idea real. Zortrax M200 allows you to do just that. You can create high precision, durable models of any shapes and in 7 Z-ABS Pantone colors. Zortrax M200 works out-of-the-box. We don’t want you to study Zortrax. We want you to enjoy it.
